OTTAWA, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The Canadian federal government on Friday announced 15 participants in NATO's new defence innovation hub in Halifax, Nova Scotia. According to a news release issued by the National Defence, two Canadian accelerators and 13 test centres have joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) network. DIANA was created by NATO to help develop dual-use technologies that address challenges affecting security and defence. NATO DIANA will be coordinated by two regional offices, one in London, Britain, and one in Halifax which will open by summer 2024. The announcement brought the NATO DIANA network to 23 accelerators and 182 test sites, the release said.
